Kalgachia, 11th November, 2023: The Career Counselling and Guidance Cell of Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia has conducted a Brainstorming Session on Transition from College to Career in the College Conference Hall. The session has started at 11.00 A.M. with a felicitation programme and an inaugural speech given by Dr. Shahjahan Ali Ahmed, Principal, Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia. Right after the inaugural speech, the resource persons delivered their respective lectures, where, Dr. Pranjal Kalita, IT Officer, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Assam, forwarded his lectures with a proper visual presentation and motivated the students to get prepared with the challenges of career selection.
Thereafter, another resource person Rajeev Baruah, Executive Director, DIAS, New Delhi extended his lecture and made them understand the necessity of proper subject and stream selection. Moreover, he also promised to provide some study materials to the students through online mode. The programme is enjoyed thoroughly by the Vice-Principal, Sushil Kumar Sarkar, Shaeb Uddin Khan, HOD, English Department, all the faculty members and most importantly the students. The entire programme is anchored by Dr. Neetu Saharia, Asstt. Prof. Assamese Department. The programme is concluded with the vote of thanks extended by Abu Sayad Rofi, Asstt. Prof, English Department.
