Kalgachia: As part of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony’s celebration of Communal Harmony Week (19th to 25th November), Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia, organized a rally to promote unity and support for destitute children. The rally commenced at the college’s main gate and proceeded through key locations, including the SBI branch, Police Point, and Hall Market, before concluding.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of communal harmony and to collect funds for the welfare of underprivileged children. The college principal, Dr. Shahjahan Ali Ahmed, led the rally with enthusiasm, accompanied by faculty members and students. Participants carried banners and placards bearing messages of peace, unity, and solidarity, spreading the message of communal harmony throughout the town.
