In presence of respected principal sir, Dr. Shahjahan Ali Ahmed, Nabajyoti College, Kalgachia witnessed the live inauguration ceremony of “MukhyomontriNijutMoinaAsoni” at the conference hall on 8thaugust, 2024.
Honorable chief minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the ceremony to help the girl students to pursue higher education with monthly aid of 1000 rupees for higher secondary students, 1250 for undergraduate students and 2500 rupees for post graduate students.
This scheme will attribute to women empowerment and also will help eradicating child marriage, specially in the backward regions of the state.
